Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

All patients can apply to be members of the Patient Participation Group and are welcome to attend meetings and get involved. The Group works to advise and inform the practice of ideas and issues. Look out for information on meeting dates on the Practice noticeboards. Listed below are some of things the Group covers:

  • We meet regularly with senior partners and management
  • We talk to other patients about their experiences at the Practice
  • We help with patient information, ask the Practice to source up to date information
  • We raise issues that concern patients – e.g. making an appointment to see your doctor
  • We offer advice about future planning – e.g. new medical facilities
  • We support the Practice with issues of public concern e.g. parking

The minutes of our meetings are available to the all patients
